The Gen 2 3MR trigger assembly for AR-15/AR-10 platforms represents a dramatic performance improvement over the original 3MR. The Gen 2 leans on the original assisted reset functionality while vastly improving the enhanced-reset characteristic. This is achieved by increasing the reset force time on the trigger assembly. The Gen 2 3MR is NOT a forced reset trigger; it is the most efficient assisted reset trigger ever made. Unlike forced reset triggers, the Gen 2 3MR continues to be the only assisted reset trigger technology expressly approved by the ATF and non-NFA.
The Gen 2 3MR ships with an ambidextrous selector compatible with weapons using AR-15/AR-10 small pin .154″ mil-spec style fire control groups. The Gen 2 3MR is a drop-in 3-mode fire control system with Safe, Semi-Automatic, and Delta V’s patented, enhanced 3rd Mode. The 3rd mode has a positive reset that dramatically reduces the split times between shots. The positive reset characteristic is achieved by transferring the force from the bolt carrier through the trigger assembly to assist the trigger back onto the front sear. As a result, this gives the firearm the fastest reset possible. Both semi and 3rd mode positions exhibit a non-adjustable 4.5 pound trigger pull weight.
